She currently lives and works in New York. Growing up in the E-era, Wenfei describes herself as an internet archaeologist\u2014the screen constitutes the entire scope of her virtual life and work. She extracts material from the internet, using familiar daily operations such as phone screen recording, computer screenshots, and text adaptation to transform them into conceptual works imbued with personal experience.
